Each event or sitting is unique. I treat every client with respect, and seek to design a package that meets your needs. Each client has specific needs, for a custom quote for your event, call me at 650-265-SHOW or email me. Some typical packages and commonly requested add ons are listed here.
Dates are booked on a first-come, first-serve basis. A non-refundable retainer of $50 plus sales tax and a signed agreement secure your date. For events, a deposit of 10% of the total package price plus sales tax is due no later than a week following receipt of your retainer and signed agreement. For all services, 50% of the total package price plus sales tax is due no later than 30 days prior to your session or event, and payment in full is due 10 business days prior to your session or event.
All event photography comes with an online gallery for viewing and online purchasing. Galleries are available for 1 month.
Portrait sittings are done on location - either indoor or outdoor - and typically last from 30 minutes to an hour. All portrait sittings come with an online gallery for viewing and online purchasing; galleries are available for 1 month.
- Basic packages in the San Francisco - Oakland - San Jose Bay Area for 1 to 2 people start at $50 plus sales tax and include expert Photoshop retouching for 1 image. A high-resolution digital file for the 1 selected image, suitable for prints up to 11x14 is provided.
- Deluxe packages start at $125 plus sales tax and include expert Photoshop retouching for 2 images. In addition to high-resolution digital files of the 2 selected images, suitable for prints up to 16x20, 1 - 8x10 print, 2 - 5x7 prints, and 2 sheets of 8 die-cut wallets are provided.
- Premier portrait sittings, starting at $200 plus sales tax, include an 8x10 spiral-bound proof book for image selection and expert Photoshop retouching for 2 to 3 images. In addition to high-resolution digital files of the 2 to 3 selected images, suitable for prints up to 16x20, 1 - 11x14 print, 2 - 8x10 prints, and 3 sheets of 8 die-cut wallets are provided.
Quinceañera portrait sittings include 1 - 11x14 1-1/2" gallery-wrapped canvas, high-resolution full-size digital file of the selected image, suitable for prints up to 16x20, high-resolution digital file of the 1 selected image with dimensions suitable for use in your invitations, and 2 sheets of 8 die-cut wallets.

- Photoshop retouching: $60 per hour. Minor retouching, such as whitening teeth or removing a scar, averages $5 per image. Major retouching, such as removal of tan lines or heavy acne, averages $30 per image. An accurate estimate will be provided when retouching work is requested.
- CD with up to 100 high resolution JPEG images: $50 plus sales tax ($20 plus sales tax for each additional 100 images)
- Online web gallery extension: $2 per 20 images per month (1 month minimum)
Photography services in California are subject to California sales tax (8.25% in Santa Clara County) whenever tangible products are included - prints, proof sheets, CDs, DVDs, etc. Most of the packages, with the exception of basic event packages that include only an online gallery, offered by EDEN HENSLEY PHOTOGRAPHY include tangible products such as CDs, proof books, prints, or mini-photobooks. NOTE: If you believe that sales tax does not apply, please obtain a determination letter from the BOE addressing the specific circumstances of the transaction and indicating that sales tax does not apply. Once you supply EDEN HENSLEY PHOTOGRAPHY a copy of that letter, EDEN HENSLEY PHOTOGRAPHY will re-issue an invoice without sales tax and refund the paid sales tax.
